The Indian Army has released a video showing an attack on a terrorist camp in Kotli, which is in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). This camp was used by Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), a terrorist group, to train suicide bombers.

This attack was part of Operation Sindoor, which India launched after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, 2025, where 26 Indian tourists were killed. The group responsible for the attack was the Resistance Front (TRF), linked to LeT.

In the video, you can see how the camp was destroyed. It was a place where about 50 terrorists were being trained. The attack took place at 1:00 AM IST on May 7, 2025, and was part of a bigger effort to target terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK.

Past Strikes

This is not the first time India has done such strikes. In 2016, after the Uri attack, India carried out surgical strikes to hit terror camps in PoK. Then in 2019, after the Pulwama attack, India bombed a Jaish-e-Mohammed camp in Balakot, Pakistan.

The government has clarified that no civilian areas were harmed in this latest attack. They also said no military targets were hit. They shared the video to show that they aimed to destroy terrorist groups.
