Bitcoin recently went up to $96,000, ending April on a strong note and giving traders hope that the price could keep rising. But even though it’s been climbing, it still hasn’t reached its recent high — which would confirm that a new bull run (a strong upward trend) has started.
Crypto expert Rekt Capital shared his thoughts on what might happen next with Bitcoin’s price.
Key Levels To Watch: $93,500 to $104,500
In a recent post on social media, Rekt Capital said that Bitcoin’s price jump at the end of April helped it get back into a stronger position.
Right now, the price is facing some resistance (a tough spot to break through) around $99,000. Something similar happened in October 2024, when Bitcoin struggled at this level before going up by over 80% in the months that followed.
Rekt Capital believes that the same kind of pattern might repeat. He says Bitcoin could get pushed back down to $93,500 before climbing again. If that happens, and Bitcoin holds steady at that level, it could rise and try to break past the $97,000–$99,000 zone.
After that, the next challenge could be at $104,500. If Bitcoin can stay strong, it might build enough momentum to go even higher — possibly over $109,000 — and reach a brand-new record.
What’s the Price Right Now?
At the moment, Bitcoin is trading around $96,500. It’s down just a little (about 0.25%) today, but it’s still up 1.84% over the past week and 15.55% in the past month.
Also, the Bitcoin Bull Index Score, which measures how strong the market feels, is now at 80 — the highest it’s been since January 30.
What It All Means
- Bitcoin looks strong, but it’s struggling to get past $99,000.
- It might drop a little first (to around $93,500) before making a big move.
- If history repeats, it could rise above $100,000 and possibly hit a new all-time high.
- Unless something big happens in the world economy to slow it down, Bitcoin seems ready for another push upward.
