Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised the Indian Army after it hit back strongly against terrorists following the deadly attack in Pahalgam, where 26 Indian soldiers were killed.

The Army carried out a mission called Operation Sindoor, targeting nine terror camps in areas controlled by Pakistan (PoJK). These camps were said to belong to terror groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, both known for planning attacks against India.

CM Yogi posted on social media:

Jai Hind! Jai Hind ki Sena!
Which simply means, Hail India! Hail our brave soldiers!

India’s Strong Reply

This isn’t the first time India has answered back after a terror attack.

  • In 2016, after the Uri attack, India carried out surgical strikes across the border.
  • In 2019, after the Pulwama bombing that killed 40 soldiers, India responded with airstrikes in Balakot.

Now, after the Pahalgam attack, the Indian Army has again shown that such acts won’t be ignored.

What’s Happening Now?

After the strikes, Pakistan claimed that civilians were harmed and said it shot down Indian jets. There was also firing at the Line of Control, and some soldiers on both sides were hurt or killed.

The world is watching closely and has asked both countries to stay calm and avoid war. But many people in India are supporting the Army and saying it was the right thing to do.
