SpaceX is preparing to launch Starship for the sixth time tomorrow. The world’s biggest rocket is scheduled to lift off on November 20 during a 30 minute launch window that opens at 3:30 am IST from Boca Chica, Texas.
This will be the fourth Starship test flight SpaceX will conduct this year.

More about Starship flight 6
Among the main objectives of flight 6 will be perfecting the catch of Starship’s 232 foot Super Heavy Booster using a tower, similar to flight 5. SpaceX has said that flight 6 “aims to expand the envelope on ship and booster capabilities and get closer to bringing reuse of the entire system online.”
Apart from catching the Booster, SpaceX will also reignite the upper stage’s Raptor engine in space and test a suite of heatshield experiments and maneuvering changes for ship reentry and descent over the Indian Ocean.

The previous Starship mission took place on October 13 and SpaceX caught the Booster using the Mechazilla tower in the very first attempt. We can expect another mission next month if SpaceX is able to reduce the turn-around time after flight 6.
Next year, however, it is very likely that we will see a higher number of Starship launches, more than four or possibly five in 2024. According to SpaceX general manager of Boca Chica operations Kathy Leuders, Elon Musk wants to conduct as many as 25 Starship missions in 2025.
