First look as Tom tries to destroy evidence of his abuse
In Emmerdale spoilers for next week, Tom tries to break into Butlers Farm to try and retrieve the tablet but doesn’t realise someone has an eye on him…
Elsewhere, Kim and Will are still at each other’s throats, but it appears one of them could be warming up to the idea of rekindling things.

1. Tom tries to delete evidence
Tom does not deviate from his usual scheming ways and kicks off the week by trying to get the tablet back from Isaac, lest someone sees the incriminating footage.
Cornering him, Tom asks, but Isaac says it’s at home. Unaware of his intention, Isaac reveals where they keep the key hidden. Tom sees his opportunity and grabs it.
Tom sneaks into Butlers Farm to find the tablet, but is forced to hide when Matty walks in.
Elsewhere, in a desperate plea, Belle asks Moira if anything jogged her memory about Tom following her discovery last week. She tells Belle no and apologises.
Later on, Tom brags about his assured victory in court, leaving Belle full of dread.
To assure his victory, Tom smashes the tablet up, thinking he is alone. However, beady-eyed Kyle is watching the whole thing…
Could Tom finally be caught out?
2. Laurel and Arthur’s family drama
Laurel and Arthur fall further into turmoil as they suffer huge relationship issues.
Nicola manages to coax a confession from Arthur and assumes a new role of friendship.
She works as Arthur’s confidante, offering advice and urging reconciliation with Laurel.
Despite the seemingly good intentions, Nicola’s interference creates a war with Laurel.
Just as Laurel and Arthur have turned a corner, could this all come undone?
Emmerdale spoilers: 3. Billy’s sly business
Billy is not being subtle as he takes sly phone calls on the down-low.
In the background, Billy can be seen hiding boxing gloves from an unsuspecting Dawn and maintaining happy appearances in front of her.
The pair are ecstatic to be bringing Evan home. However, Billy raises suspicions as he enquires from Mack about finding a cheap car.
Mack is confused as to where he acquired the wealth and sustained an injury. Nevertheless, Mack finds a lead on a car the next day.
Gabby spots an anxious Dawn waiting to go to the hospital. Billy is late to collect her, despite a few reminders. Being a good friend, Gabby steps in and offers a lift instead.
Meanwhile, Mackenzie is shocked to the core when he sees a bloodied and bruised Billy on his doorstep. Billy begs Mack to help him and refuses to go to a hospital, worried about involving the authorities.
The reason for his sudden injuries is made clear when Mack cleans up his wounds. Billy reveals he was injured in an unlicensed boxing match.
He wants to raise money to support his family. Paramedic John also arrives to help with stitches. With two people aware, it hardly seems a secret anymore…
Will Billy admit to Dawn he’s finding boxing hard to leave?
Emmerdale spoilers: 4. Will and Kim fight again
Despite several weeks of back-and-forths, Will and Kim are no closer to slowing down their arguments.
Feeling guilty for pressuring Jimmy to sell his shares in the Haulage, Will invites Jimmy for a few drinks at Home Farm with the promise of no business talk.
Kim walks in feeling furious before spotting them. She lets loose about the state of the living room.
Later, Kim comes downstairs dressed up to the nines for a dinner-date with her financial advisor, Peter. Jimmy’s completely shocked at the sight, but Will is not happy. Another point to Kim…
This only encourages Will to punch Peter to the floor later on after yet another row.
Lydia seeks out Kim, who is sitting at the Home Farm living room and looking contemplative. She admits she doesn’t feel as good as she’d hoped in intentionally upsetting Will and trying to get one up on him.
Wise Lydia implies there’s a possibility they still love each other…
Could the divorce be called off?
5. Charles stands his ground
Manpreet is shocked to spot Charles and Jai squaring up to each other in the distance. After spotting the tension, Manpreet jumps in to diffuse it.
Charles is embarrassed as Manpreet berates him and walks away.
Later, with his tail between his legs, Charles tells Laurel about his run-in with Jai.
Laurel wants to chat about it, but Charles sticks to his guns and calls their relationship off, before walking away.
6. Lydia tries to save Amelia
Perhaps feeling on top of the world, Tom continues to try and manipulate Amelia.
Amelia is left feeling guilty for upsetting Sam and Lydia, giving Sam a photo of Esther to pass on to Samson. Lydia and Sam are hopeful that things seem to be on the mend.
As Lydia walks Amelia and Esther out of the Dingles, she takes an opportunity and tries to convince Lydia she’s wrong about Tom.
Will Lydia believe her? Or is it too late?

1. Coronation Street spoilers for next week: Joel’s body is found
The week starts with Joel’s investigation in full swing. Craig and Kit sit down and watch the CCTV from a train station car park.
Both are shocked to see Joel and then his dad around a locker. Following the lead, Kit interviews Gus in a desperate attempt to reveal the truth.
Later on, three lads are passing by the river and see a body floating in the water. Police believe the body to be Joel’s.
Kit steals himself to break the news to Dee-Dee and Lauren at the hospital, while Lisa breaks the news to people in the Rovers.
Meanwhile, coroners undergo a shocking post mortem, which reveals he was already dead before he was chucked into the river.
The potential suicide has now switched to a murder investigation. Police draw up their suspects…
2. The suspects are lined up
Could it be Lauren? Could it be Mason? Police are investigating all lines…
Kit first questions Lauren and asks where she was on September 27, the night of Joel’s death.
Elsewhere, Dee-Dee reveals to Ed and Ronnie that Joel was murdered…
More details of the post mortem are revealed, which say that Joel died from two blows to the head with a heavy weapon, most likely a crowbar.
While on the cobbles, DS Swain learns from Yasmeen that she threw Mason out because he had a crowbar, something which puts him as a main suspect.
Ever the protective mother, Lisa tells Betsy to stay away from Mason, which only leaves her intrigued.
Betsy warns Mason that the police are onto him. Hearing her warning, Mason disposes of the crowbar in a bin behind the factory.
However, it doesn’t go smoothly as he is caught in the act by Kit.
3. Stu threatens to leave
Speed Daal’s finest are once again at loggerheads. The reason? No surprises – it’s Mason.
Stu grows angry with Yasmeen after she reveals a social worker has found alternative accommodation for Mason. She feels it’s time for Mason to move on.
He disagrees. A furious Stu tells Yasmeen he is thinking of moving – not just out, but to Germany.
Stu claims he wants to be with Eliza and Dom and away from Weatherfield.
How will Yasmeen react?
4. Bethany’s plight
Still in despair and trying to patch things up, Daniel explains to Sarah how Bethany has got it into her head that he won’t want to be with her as she now has a stoma bag.
Daniel emphasises this means nothing to him, but it doesn’t seem to be getting through to an insecure Bethany.
However, the next action is… questionable.
Later, Jenny tells Daisy that she bumped into Daniel and recounted his relationship struggles.
This makes her determined and Daisy sets off to the hospital, to put Bethany straight…
5. The Platts’ finances
Bethany’s medical flight was no small purchase. Gail is still adamant about selling the house.
However, David is still on edge and has been carefully going over his finances to see if he can buy the house.
He feels particularly mistrusting after Jesse offers to lend a hand and reveals he’s taking Gail on a trip to Whitby. Could there be an ulterior motive?
The younger Platts think so. Sarah and David take a moment to discuss his supposedly ‘strange’ behaviour. However, the conversation is cut by the arrival of an estate agent putting up a “for sale” sign. David reacts expectedly…
Jesse, unaware to their suspicions, tells Gail he wants to get to know her kids. He treats David, Sarah and Nick to lunch in the Rovers.
There, the kids quiz him on his finances and he admits he’s awaiting some cash after he sold his home.
Elsewhere, Sarah accuses Adam of stealing Damon’s money from the lock-up. Adam assures her he had nothing to do with it, nor did Daniel and the most likely suspect is Damon’s cousin who went to ‘check’ on it.
At the lunch, David advises Sarah to forget about Damon’s missing money, but she’s not done yet.
Adam stirs the pot as he says Jesse may have overheard her and David discussing the missing money and Sarah becomes adamant that Jesse took it. She follows Jesse after he has to leave early.
What could she find?
6. Rowan’s interference
Leanne, although still reeling from Nick and Toyah’s divorce, starts focussing her attention on sorting out the family.
She tells Toyah that both of them should move out of the flat to leave time for Nick and Sam. Leanne reveals she has rented the flat above the salon, but Toyah will have to find her own place. Rightly so…
At the Bistro, Nick gets a concerning call revealing that Rowan is pleading not guilty. He divulges this to David, and adds the family will have to go to trial against Rowan.
Trying to take his mind of things, Nick flirts with a customer, but doesn’t realise Sam is watching.
Sam takes matters into his own hands and tells the customer his dad is engaged and not available.
In an attempt to reignite Nick and Leanne’s love, Sam prepares a romantic meal at the flat.
However, disaster strikes when he uses a sharp knife to try and open some oysters.
Sam calls on Asha at No.7, who takes him to the hospital where Nick is called out.
Coronation Street spoilers: 7. Hope’s vapes
Hope tells Tyrone she is too ill to go to school. The youngster is still using vapes, despite promising her parents she’d cut them out.
Tyrone reckons Hope’s brought it on herself by vaping, and encourages a hospital visit.
Dr Gaddas confirms that Hope has a chest infection and her vaping will certainly have played a part.
Is this the wake up call she needs to put down the vapes?
8. Family worries
Gemma confides in Chesney that she doesn’t want Joseph to go on his school skiing trip in case he gets hurt and passes away, like Paul.
Ches comforts her and Joseph later reveals he doesn’t want Gemma to feel stressed on his behalf and would rather not go. Will this sort things, or cause a riff?
Elsewhere, Lauren is left delighted after the doctors say Frankie is ready to go home next month. Her friends rally around her, with Bobby taking a particularly strong stand.
He tells Max that he still has strong feelings for Lauren and wants to be with her.
However, he learns that Lauren slept on Max’s couch the other night and they start to act shifty around him.
Could something be going on?
Coronation Street spoilers: 9. Ronnie’s surprise
Debbie works behind the scenes to arrange a surprise party for Ronnie to make his birthday.
He’s happy, but his mood is quickly squished when Kit and a colleague arrive to question him and Ed.
Ronnie insists he was home alone the night Joel went missing, while Ed claims he was at No.3 with Dee-Dee and Michael.
In an attempt to get the heat off their backs, Ronnie says he last used the satnav when he and Michael helped Joel move out of his flat ages ago.
At the party, Michael reveals they actually drove to Joel’s flat in his car that time and an unimpressed Debbie realises Ronnie lied to her.
Could this be a clue to Joel’s killer?

This Morning viewers stunned by Alison Hammond ‘new’ appearance following ‘more’ weight loss
This Morning fans were left gushing over Alison Hammond and her ‘new’ look, amid her weight loss journey.
The telly fave has undergone a weight loss transformation in recent months. In September, Alison admitted she was at her heaviest at 28 stone.In a bid to turn things around, Alison managed to lose 11 stone, following a change in her diet and intense workout routines.
And on Friday (October 11) Alison was back on screens to front This Morning – and fans couldn’t get enough.

Alison was back to front This Morning with Dermot O’Leary on Friday (October 11).
Looking amazing, Allison rocked a brown shirt that she tucked into an animal-print skirt and cream flat pumps. The Great British Bake Off host opted for a full face of glam too, including bouncy waves.
But it was Alison’s new accessory that got fans talking: the Brummie favourite looked stylish in a pair of black glasses.

Alison’s new look went down a treat with fans. On X, one person said: “Alison looks great with glasses!” Someone else wrote: “Will someone please tell Alison, that she looks amazing!!”
While over on Instagram, the compliments kept coming. In the comments section of a post of Alison and Dermot posing in the This Morning studio, fans were left swooning.
One person said: “Alison is looking fantastic, loosing all the weight.” While another fan wrote: “Alison looks amazing.”
Alison Hammond had gastric band
Like a number of celebs, Alison underwent gastric sleeve surgery in 2014. However, her body rejected it and she only kept it for two years after struggling to “keep down one bite of food”.
In an extract from her autobiography, You’ve Got To Laugh, Alison said: “I was sick a lot. I couldn’t keep anything down. It was really distressing, I felt as if my body was rejecting the foreign entity inside me and I began to get ill.
“I kept it for two years, until it was getting to the point where I couldn’t even keep down one bite of food. ‘I can’t take this anymore,’ I thought, miserably.”

BBC Breakfast forced many viewers to cringe and some to turn over after an “awkward” and “dreadful” Friday interview between Bill Bailey and co-presenter Naga Munchetty.
The 59-year-old comedian was on the programme’s red sofa promoting his new book My Animals, and Other Animals: A memoir of sorts.

However, in a segment that showcased animal photos, an image of Bill posing with a husky in Iceland left Naga, 49, questioning tongues.
She asked: “Is that your tongue or the dog’s tongue?”
A confused Bill replied: “That’s the dog’s tongue, what do you mean is that my tongue? It’s coming out sideways! That’s not the sort of thing I’d do! That’s the dog’s tongue!”
The presenter, who was hosting alongside Charlie Stayt, 62, did not leave it there.
Naga justified her question by adding: “Look you can see if someone said that’s your tongue, it would be believable!”
The comedy legend jumped back: “That’s not the question I thought I was going to get today: ‘Is that your tongue or the dog’s?’”
The conversation later turned to the thought of AI potentially replacing comedians.
Bill shut down the idea, saying: “Do you think? No way, AI could never replace me! Look, AI, the tongue would come straight out you’d know whose tongue it was!”
Naga teased him by responding with: “You’re saying it as a compliment, the husky had a nice tongue!”
Bill laughed it all off with a bemused “Alright…”
BBC Breakfast viewers react to the ‘dreadful’ interview
Many viewers took to X, formerly Twitter, to react to the interview.
One said: “Had to turn over from that Bill Bailey interview, [I’m] glad I wasn’t on my own feeling awkward watching that. Dreadful stuff. #BBCBreakfast.
Another penned: “He seemed a bit irked with her at the end.”
Meanwhile, a thrid wrote: “Naga just comes across as so annoying, ref Bill Bailey #BBCBreakfast.”
Bill’s first memoir, and surprise Strictly win
Bill’s 304-paged memoir, which came out on October 10, “shares stories of his life – and the animals he’s met along the way”.
