Emmerdale fans beg soap to axe the Andersons as Claudette insists on sticking around

Last night in Emmerdale (Tuesday, October 3), Claudette was giving Charles the silent treatment as she remained furious with his betrayal.

Charles tried to make amends with his mum

Last night, Claudette didn’t fancy talking to Charles as she still resented him for his betrayal.

She was devastated that he’d framed Victor for stealing Rishi’s necklace right before his death, making his family think the worst of him.

Later on, Claudette came into the church and sat in the pew next to Charles.

She mentioned wanting to tell a group of children to be honest and kind, wishing that she could go back in time to tell Charles the same.

Charles then asked Claudette to forgive him, promising that he was the same person that she knew before.

Claudette, however, had her doubts as she remembered how Charles had acted in the pub with Tom the other day.

Emmerdale fans beg soap to axe the Andersons

Emmerdale fans are now begging the soap to axe the Andersons, being baffled as to why Claudette is still lingering in the village.

They’ve pointed out that she doesn’t own the house and that Charles should just kick her out seeing as they’ve fallen out. Or, even better, he could leave the village with her.

One fan pleaded: “Emmerdale please get rid of boring Charles and miserable Claudette. Nobody cares about these dull as dishwater characters. Send Belle and Tom with them as well whilst you are at it.”

Another person complained: “If Charles’ mother is acting like that, just kick her out.”

A third person said: “For goodness sake get rid of Charles and Claudette. So bored with these dull, pointless characters”

Another fan exclaimed: “Charles’ mum won’t forgive him so why doesn’t she move out?!”

A final viewer added: “No please Charles do hide away – miles and miles away from the village.”

Prince Harry’s ‘regret’ over Trooping the Colour 2024 ‘snub’

Prince Harry is said to have ‘regretted’ missing Trooping The Colour 2024, with an expert also claiming his children will likely never appear at a royal event.

The nation, and the palace, celebrated the King’s Birthday Parade on Saturday (June 15). Royal fans flocked to Buckingham Palace to see their favourite royals including Kate Middleton – despite her ongoing cancer treatment.

But one notable face that was missing was Harry. And it’s now been reported that he will be “regretting” his decision to not show up.

Harry doesn’t attend Trooping The Colour 2024

For years, it’s been alleged that Meghan and Prince Harry are embroiled in a rift with the Palace, including Prince William and Kate.  Their reported tense relationship stems from when Harry and Meghan decided to step back from their Royal duties in 2020.

The last time Harry was in the UK, was believed to have been in May. This was for the 10th anniversary of his Invictus Games. However, it’s been claimed he didn’t see his dad or any of his other family while here.

And with him being a no-show at Trooping The Colour 2024 on Saturday (June 15) it’s been claimed Harry could have some ‘regret’ over not attending.

Harry ‘regrets’ not attending Trooping The Colour 2024?

Richard Fitzwilliams told The Sun that Harry has “always taken an interest” with regard to “military matters.”

He explained: “The military. has been a very important part of his life, and I would have thought it only natural that he would have had a feeling of some regret [not being at Trooping the Colour].”

Harry’s children ‘might never appear at Trooping The Colour

The expert also mused how Harry’s two children, might never make an appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony or at a royal event because of the rift.

He said: “I think it’s impossible to imagine Archie and Lilibet on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, or at Trooping The Colour by themselves.”

Richard then claimed it could the siblings “will only” be on the balcony with their parents, “if the rift is solved.”

ED! UK has contacted representatives for comment.

Meghan Markle’s ‘plan for healing summer for Harry’

It comes after it was reported the Duchess of Sussex has some big plans for Prince Harry, this summer.

According to a source in Heat magazine, Meghan is keen for Harry to “take a break” this summer.

The source claims that while Meghan is “proud” of how Harry is handling the stress of multiple court cases – as well as the cancer battles Kate and the King are undergoing – she can see he is beginning to “unravel”.

They also claim that Harry is “clinging on” to the hope of a familial reconciliation – something Meghan isn’t expecting. It’s also allegedly “painful” for Harry at the moment. This is because he isn’t getting any “proper updates” on Kate or the King’s health.

Michael Mosley friend on last time he saw him before death in final interview

Fans of the late Dr Michael Mosley have shared their sadness over his final interview – with his friend recalling the last time he saw him before his tragic death.

Michael went missing last week whilst holidaying on the Greek island of Symi. He was found dead on Sunday June 9. The discovery of his body came days after he failed to return home from a walk on June 5.

On Friday (June 15) the TV doctor was heard on Radio 4 in his final interview, How to Live a Good Life, with Professor Paul Bloom.

BBC airs Michael Mosley final interview after death

Michael’s close friend and radio host Chris van Tulleken, introduced the show. The programme was part of a tribute to the TV doctor, called There’s Only One Michael Mosley.

What I didn’t know was that it would be the last time I ever saw him

“What you’re about to hear was recorded a few minutes before I met up with Michael at the Hay Festival and what I didn’t know was that it would be the last time I ever saw him,” said Chris, as he introduced the show.

He went on: “Because two weeks later he died on holiday with his wife in Greece.”

Chris continued: “As you’re listening to Michael, I want you to reflect on his style – dryly witty, modest, humble.

“This style disguises that he is one of the most important broadcasters of recent decades. Before Michael, doctors in white coats told you how to live from their ivory towers. Michael’s genius was to make himself the patient and the guinea pig in a way that’s utterly relatable.

For me, these friendships and endured for more than a decade

“Off-camera and off-mic he was the same – humble, kind and above all, generous. And that generosity set the tone in the BBC science unit in a way that meant everyone that worked there became friends and collaborators rather than competitors. For me, these friendships and endured for more than a decade.”

Michael Mosley’s ‘legacy is going to live on’

He added: “Michael’s death has moved so many of us, so really I’m speaking for lots of television and audio presenters and producers.

I’ll miss him as a friend and as a mentor – but perhaps most of all, I’ll miss him as a broadcaster

“His legacy is going to live on in our memories – any time we brush our teeth standing on one leg or fast a little longer in between meals, we build up our strength doing squats or do any one of the hundreds of tricks that he taught us.

“I’ll miss him as a friend and as a mentor – but perhaps most of all, I’ll miss him as a broadcaster. So I hope you enjoy this – his final interview.

“I hope you enjoy it – along with all the hints and tips Michael has left us on how to live a good life. Something that he most certainly did.”

Michael Mosley fans emotional over final interview

Listeners were left emotional over Michael’s final interview. One person said: “Just listened to this. So sad to think Michael Mosley is no longer with us but he left a wealth of recordings and advice.”

I had to switch off as it is still too raw to listen to

Someone else added: “I loved Michael Mosley and I don’t object to his interview being played – but I had to switch off as it is still too raw to listen to.”

Today’s Trooping the Colour ceremony ended with the royal family taking to the Buckingham Palace balcony.

And – once again – it was the royal children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in particular, who stole the show.

Princess Charlotte scolds Prince Louis at Trooping the Colour

During the closing moments of today’s Trooping the Colour, the royals waved to the crowds.

The national anthem then kicked in, with all royals present on the balcony standing to attention.

Amongst those on the balcony today were the Prince and Princess of Wales, as well as their children, George, Charlotte, and Louis.

A certain moment between Charlotte and her younger brother, Louis, caught the attention of many.

As the national anthem began, Charlotte could be seen nudging her brother and telling him to put his hands by his side.

The six-year-old complied – initially anyway – before the camera cut away.

Royal fans in hysterics

Fans of the royals were loving the moment between brother and sister, and took to Twitter to laugh about it.

“Big sister duties from Charlotte keeping Louis in check as always haha,” one royal fan tweeted.

“Charlotte being such a big Sister. Telling prince Louis to stand straight,” another said.

“Noticed Princess Charlotte telling him to take his hands out his pockets for the final rendition of God Save The King [laughing emojis],” a third wrote.

However, some fans were disappointed at how seemingly well-behaved Louis was on the balcony this time around.

“Prince Louis behaved himself on the balcony. Sad times,” one fan tweeted.

Concern for King Charles as Kate returns

Meanwhile, there was some concern from royal fans over King Charles‘ appearance during today’s ceremony.

The 75-year-old monarch is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. He wast at today’s ceremony to salute the troops as they marched past.

Fans were left worried for the monarch, with some claiming he looked “tired” and frail.

King Charles is looking frail,” one royal fan tweeted. “They [King and Queen] look great together, yet King Charles looks a bit tired, he should be taking it easy for a while after this event I hope,” another said.

Today’s ceremony also saw the Princess of Wales make a return to public life. She watched the ceremony alongside her children, George, Charlotte, and Louis.

It was her first official public appearance this year. The 42-year-old – like her father-in-law – is currently undergoing treatment for cancer.

“So lovely to see our Princess of Wales out and about again. She looked absolutely beautiful as always, let’s hope she’s back to full health soon,” one fan tweeted upon seeing her.
