The Moon which is the Earth’s only natural satellite will be quite active in the near future because there will be a lot of activity happening on its surface. In 2024, China plans to send a mission to the Moon and they will also bring a payload from Pakistan with them.
The Chang’e-6 lunar mission is being worked on as scheduled. This mission’s goal is to gather samples from the side of the Moon. They want to land in a special area called the South Pole-Aitken Basin and gather samples from various parts of the Moon including ones that are very old.
To encourage teamwork between countries, the Chang’e-6 mission will bring along equipment and projects from various places around the world.
For instance, they will have a radon detection device from France, a negative ion detector from the European Space Agency, a laser reflector from Italy and a small satellite from Pakistan called a CubeSat.

CubeSat is a small satellite from Pakistan. Recently the country also sent some seeds to the Chinese space station called Tiangong for a study on seeds that can handle different environments.
Pakistan is also looking into the idea of making an official agreement to be a part of both the Tiangong space station and a big project led by China on the South Pole of the Moon.
