Linda Robson has opened up about romance following rumours of her marriage split.

The Loose Women star has insisted she’s ‘happy as I am’ following her reported split from husband Mark Dunford. She made the confession on Monday’s edition of the daytime show.

But what has Linda said about her apparent marriage split? Here’s every single thing the TV star has opened up about…

Speaking on Monday’s Loose Women (October 2), Linda said that she doesn’t “need anyone else” apart from her friends, co-stars, her kids and her grandchildren.

She said on the show: “I’ve got companions, I’ve got friends, I’ve got you lot, I’ve got my grandchildren and my kids. I don’t need anyone else. I’m happy as I am. I like doing things on my own anyway. When I go away, I can watch what I want on the telly and I can eat where I want.”

When asked whether romance later in life scares her, Linda admitted: “I’ve never got undressed in front of my husband let alone a stranger or someone that I’ve just meet. I know I talk about sex a lot but I’ve haven’t had it for about two years.”

So what else has Linda said about her relationship breakdown? Back in June of this year, Linda admitted she and Mark were having “ups and downs”.

She told The Sun at the time: “Every relationship goes through its ups and downs. It’s not bad, we’re doing alright.”

I’ve got companions, I’ve got friends, I’ve got you lot, I’ve got my grandchildren and my kids.

However, at the start of September, Linda appeared to confirm her split on Loose Women. Discussing finding love, Linda was asked by her co-stars about romance in her life.

Linda said: “I’ve had two loves of my life and now my grandchildren are the love of my life and my children. So no I’m not looking for anyone.”

What else has Linda said about romance and marriage?

Brenda Edwards asked: “You’re not looking, you’re not actively looking…”

Linda replied: “No, I can’t be [bleep]ed any more.” Fair enough!

Later that month, the subject of romance was again discussed on Loose Women. Speaking about when is too soon to move on from a partner, Linda admitted she doesn’t need a partner.

She said: “I feel like I don’t really need a partner to love me. I’ve got my children, my grandchildren, my sisters and my friends. I’m looking for affection, not an erection.”

ED! contacted reps for Linda on rumours of a split at the time.

Eamonn Holmes is reportedly taking his split with Ruth Langsford hard, according to a friend.

The TV veterans shared they were going their separate ways last month after 14 years of marriage.

The former couple, who share son Jack, have largely kept quiet on the split. However, Eamonn’s pal and Coronation Street star Charlie Lawson has had his say on their divorce – and his words imply that Eamonn hasn’t taken it well.

Charlie Lawson speaks out on Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford split

Charlie and Eamonn have been close friends for years, with Eamonn even officiating his wedding in 2023. So it’s not much of a surprise that the Jim McDonald actor speaks kindly of the broadcaster.

Discussing Eamonn’s split from Ruth, Charlie told The Sun on Sunday: “I’ve known Eamonn for a very long time and we spoke a couple of days ago.

“He’s doing his best to get through it.”

They’re finding it very difficult. He’s a very good friend. I love him dearly.

He continued: “Splitting up is always difficult and if you are in the public eye, and these two are both extremely famous, it’s extremely difficult. They’re finding it very difficult. He’s a very good friend. I love him dearly. They’ll get through it.”

Ruth Langsford news

Meanwhile, Ruth is reportedly being comforted by a familiar face. Ruth has apparently turned to Lisa Armstrong, the ex-wife of Ant McPartlin.

Lisa has also endured a break-up in the public eye, after splitting up with her husband of 11 years, Ant. Although Lisa’s split was back in in 2018, she is often featured in headlines. Especially in recent weeks, after Ant welcomed his first child with his wife Anne-Marie.

Fortunately, Lisa has been the ideal shoulder to cry on, according to a source. A source alleged to OK!: “Ruth is getting more and more angry about Eamonn’s new ‘relationship’ and feels very betrayed and hurt.

“She can’t believe that Eamonn is doing this so publicly and it feels like he’s trying to rub her face in it as some form of payback for Ruth ending the marriage. And as well as this ‘relationship’, she was upset to find out that a mutual friend had been consoling Eamonn and is worried she is being painted as the bad guy.”

It comes after reports claimed that Eamonn has grew close a relationship counsellor.

ED! has contacted reps of Ruth and Eamonn for comment.

Emmerdale fans have praised actor James Chase for his portrayal of Tom King after the villain nearly lost his life in harrowing scenes, which aired in Monday’s (June 24) episode.

Fans of the ITV soap have branded James a ‘great actor’ on social media. This comes after his character was left unconscious following a violent outburst.

What will happen now Tom has regained consciousness and Belle’s exit plan was scuppered?

Emmerdale: Tom is electrocuted

Emmerdale viewers know that Tom has been abusing and controlling his new wife Belle behind closed doors. But she is in denial about what is going on.

The couple’s marriage has continued to go from bad to worse. However after Belle found out she was pregnant, things have spiralled even more. Having started to come to terms with the reality of her situation, Belle told Tom she’d had a miscarriage. But she’d actually made the decision to have an abortion.

When Tom found out about the termination, he headed to the barn. He then smashed everything up with an iron bar in a fit of rage.

His final swing proved to be disastrous however, as he started to lose strength and hit the rotary isolator, resulting in him being electrocuted. Tom could then be seen lying on the floor unconscious in the barn at the end of the dramatic scenes.

Emmerdale fans praise Tom actor James Chase

Emmerdale fans were treated to a sneak peek behind the scenes in a new Instagram post from the ITV soap. Viewers were given a look into how Tom’s accident was orchestrated in a new clip.

Actor James talked soap fans through what he had to do in the scenes. This prompted many to praise his acting skills and overall portrayal of Tom, despite some not wanting the character to survive.

“Although a harrowing storyline. He is a great actor and Tom and Belle are playing this storyline out amazingly well. Scared for Belle,” one Emmerdale fan commented.

A second soap viewer added: “You’re a great actor. Well done both of you. Never easy playing a villain for the backlash but well done.”

“Amazing episode this evening, difficult viewing for some people I can only imagine but brilliantly acted,” another Emmerdale fan said.

In Emmerdale this year, Nate has seen his marriage with Tracy break down.

He then sought to get revenge on his uncle Caleb, who had been having an affair with Tracy.

However, it appears there will be no happy ending for Nate and Tracy as The Sun has now reported that Jurell Carter, who plays Nate Robinson, has quit the soap and will exit in dramatic scenes.

Emmerdale star Nate Robinson ‘quits’

Nate arrived in the Dales in 2019 and immediately ruffled feathers when he embarked on an affair with Moira Dingle.

A major twist then confirmed that Nate was in fact the estranged son of Moira’s husband Cain Dingle, and seducing Moira was just an act of revenge for Nate after feeling neglected by his father.

Nate went on to make up with his dad and settled down in the village. He married Tracy last year before that relationship came crashing down following her affair with Caleb.

There will be no reconciliation on the cards as The Sun say Nate is set for a dramatic exit.

Nate set for explosive Emmerdale exit

The tabloid report that a big exit is being planned for Nate later this year.

“Nate has been at the centre of some huge storylines and his exit will be no different,” a source told the publication.

“It will be dramatic and explosive and will go down in Emmerdale history. It won’t be one to miss.

“Jurell has loved being on the soap but he’s a young actor and it’s understandable he wants to spread his wings.

“Five years is a good run but he feels it’s time.”

Emmerdale has been contacted for comment.

Emmerdale usually airs on weekdays at 7.30pm, with an hour long episode on Thursdays.
